Had a great time downtown with some great friends for the Cherry Blossom Festival.  Can you believe that I was born in Alexandria and raised In McLean and NEVER seen the Cherry Blossoms in DC?!?!  It’s true, so I finally did it this week and what a great day we had!!!

    The sky was such an amazing blue…

   The wind came along and made it snow pedals….it was so cool!!!

 

 

 

 

 

    The flower beds were also beautiful….I’m glad we did that last so we didn’t have to walk around after laying in dirt!!!

    Not sure what kind of Tulip this is but I think I need to plant some in my yard now!!!

 

Now that I have seen the Cherry Blossoms for the first time, I might have to go see the fireworks for the first time also!!!
